Adam graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2001 with a Sports Science degree, and the following year became certified as a Professional Fitness and Lifestyle Consultant through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. He then earned his Physiotherapy degree from Dalhousie University in 2005. He has been working in the field of orthopedic physiotherapy, primarily in the United States, ever since. In 2010 he graduated from the Manual Therapy Institute in New Hampshire becoming certified in orthopedic manual therapy. Later that same year he earned designation as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Angela returned to her hometown of Fredericton in 2017 after residing in New Hampshire for 20 years. She started her career in 1999 and in 2009, she graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University.
